I used a Spellbinders Contemporary Hearts Pendant die to cut out the pink pendant. I colored the woman and her kitty with Copic markers then cut it out. I layered it on a piece of brown paper then cut around to create a small frame. I completed the card by adding a bow, a sentiment, and half pearls. Isn’t this a sweet little kitty? Definitely huggable. |

CHRIS HURLEY--Doggy Design Team Member
I've been a scrapbooking, card making, rubber stamping, paper hoarder for about 15 years. I love to make cards and other altered items. I spend most days in my studio. I also love to garden and spend time outside, that is when it's warm! I've been married to my wonderful husband Dan for 9 years. We have 3 dogs, Fred, Doodle & Omlette. They are like my babies and most of the time act that way too!
CLAUDINE POCH--Kitty Design Team Member
My name is Claudine Poch, and I am excited to be on the Purrs and Pants Design Team. My two biggest passions in life are cats and crafts! I have enjoyed doing crafts almost all of my life, and have been doing paper crafts for over four years. I particularly enjoy making cards and artist trading cards (ATC’s). Regarding cats, I am an avid cat-lover, and have eight cats of my own. I never set out to have that many cats, but I have a soft spot in my heart and have rescued seven of them. I have found a way to combine my two passions by making cat-themed cards, which I sell to benefit the no-kill animal shelter where I volunteer. I live in Ohio with my husband, 10-year old son, and of course, my eight cats. I work full-time at an agency that provides advocacy to individuals with disabilities. When I am not at work, I am usually busy creating and making cards. Please visit my blog at http://cardsbyclaudine.blogspot.com
